New Administration Building and Athletics Additions
The new Administration Building offers an upgraded space for the North Providence School Department (NPSD) and a dedicated area for fans attending games and events. Previously, the NPSD administration was housed within the North Providence Town Hall, which lacked sufficient space for all staff members to be under one roof.
Solution Partnering with Shawmut Design and Construction and the North Providence School Department, the StudioJAED team developed a state-of-the-art administration building featuring modern amenities. Alongside this, an athletics addition was created to enhance the experience for game attendees. The athletics addition includes:
- New Restrooms
- New Concessions Stand
- Viewing Area
- Accessibility Features
Impact The new administration building offers a safe and welcoming environment for faculty and staff, allowing them to work more closely with North Providence High School (NPHS). This proximity enables the superintendent and staff to oversee operations more effectively and engage with students and faculty more frequently.
Additionally, the new viewing area provides a comfortable space for fans to enjoy games and events, overlooking the upgraded football, soccer, and lacrosse field.
