- Scope of Work: StudioJAED was provided planning, educational specifications, programming and construction documents for complete renovations to both Lombardy Elementary School and Forwood Elementary Schools. The project also included a 9,000 square foot addition to Lombardy to house art, music, and specialty classrooms for the school. The projects were undertaken in response to meet the needs of the changing educational programs at both schools.

The renovations at both Forwood and Lombardy Elementary Schools included full architectural, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering design services to completely renovate, reconfigure, and update the existing facilities. Architectural improvements included replacement of windows and doors with new, energy efficient systems, complete renovation of all classrooms, including new casework and storage systems, expansion and renovation of libraries and computer centers, and redesign of office and entrance foyers to improve security and efficiency for the staff.
