- Scope of Work: StudioJAED provided mechanical and electrical engineering services for CIBA Building A47 at the Newport, DE facility. The building required space reorganization to accommodate new office and laboratory space.

The mechanical system consisted of variable air volume which required the design and implementation of a new modular climate changer and variable air volume boxes. The modular climate changer was adapted to connect to the building's existing chilled water system. A complete electrical fit-out was provided including lights, receptacles, power distribution to equipment, secondary power supply, and a secondary transformer.
The project was performed on an aggressive time schedule that enabled CIBA to meet internal goals established for space occupancy. StudioJAED's documents were integrated into the clients' internal bidding procedures to accomplish an on-time and within budget project.
